Scott 100 Dinner- Guest Speakers Include James Blake: Saturday 9th Feb. 2013

Guest speakers will entertain throughout the evening including James Blake, son of the late Sir Peter Blake and Pippa Lady Blake.

Professor Sir David Skegg, President of the Royal Society of New Zealand, and Mrs Philippa Foster Back, Chair of the United Kingdom Antarctic Heritage Trust, will also be present and contributing to the occasion. Brownlee Disregards Heritage – Eugenie Sage M.P. Media Release

The Earthquake Recovery Minister is failing to take heritage seriously, the Green Party said.

Green MP Eugenie Sage asked the Minister a series of written parliamentary questions to find out what priority CERA gives to heritage but the Minister passed the buck to the building owners, to the Ministry of Culture and Heritage, and to heritage agencies. (more…)
