New quilts for Alberton Beds

Alberton’s beds will be undergoing a transformation this month as the Monday Modern Quilt Group displays some of their innovative work in an exciting new exhibition of exquisite bedding.

New Quilts for Alberton Beds will feature examples of a range of colourful modern quilts made by the Pt Chevalier-based group. The group will also provide two free interactive sessions on quilting techniques for people wanting to hone their skills.

The group started in 2012 and its members specialise in making all sizes of quilts through experimentation with space, colour and revision or improvisation. This will be the first time the group has had an exhibition at Alberton.
