Warner's Hotel could rise again in Christchurch's Cathedral Square  : The Press
"Host Hotels and Resorts, based in Maryland in the United States has applied to the Christchurch City Council for resource consent to replicate Warner's."
"While the drawings provided to the council lacked the historic veranda that originally extended out over Cathedral Square, the company had not ruled out reinstating it. The ornate veranda was rescued at the time of demolition and was in storage."
