Susan Gibson, Group Communications Manager, Heritage Hotel Management, Auckland, was in Christchurch on 19 March to meet with Anna Crighton, President, Historic Places Aotearoa and Gary Jarvis, General Manager, Heritage Christchurch for an onsite tour of the prominent heritage listed central city landmark building.
Due to previous comprehensive earthquake strengthening the "marvellous" Old Government building came through the "shakes" extremely well and the Heritage Hotel Group are very proud of the high quality of the restoration and refurbishment work carried out.  The Heritage Christchurch Hotel, formerly known as the Old Government Buildings,in Cathedral Square will be open to the public soon.
